What information we collect

We only collect the information we need to respond to you and carry out electrical work. This may include:

• The address where work is carried out, and the details needed to issue quotes, invoices and electrical certificates.
• Technical information about your visit to our website, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and provide a quote.
• To arrange, carry out and certify electrical work, including issuing certificates and notifying Building Control through our competent person scheme (NAPIT) where the law requires it.
• To send invoices, keep accounting records and meet our legal and tax obligations.
• To protect our website from spam and misuse.
• To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send you marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

• Anyone we are legally required to share it with.

Third-party services on our website

Our website uses the following services, which may collect information about your visit under their own privacy policies:

• Google reCAPTCHA, to protect our contact form from spam.
• Google Maps, to show our location.
• Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit), to understand how visitors use our website.
• Google reviews and Instagram feed widgets, which display content from Google and Instagram.

• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it.
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information.

• Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

We use sensible technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) website, password-protected systems and limiting access to the people who need it.

Complaints
